Position: Field Agent

Company Details: Here at Trusted MN Homes we work to provide need based services and products to our community. We are distributing devices at no cost to the communities of TEXAS and MINNESOTA to better assist them with a way of communication. Your role as a field agent is to inform customers about our services along with the benefits it provides to them. You do not have to convince anyone to buy anything as the services we provide are free through the federal ACP program and are no cost to the consumer as this is an extension of their current government benefits. Your primary job is to provide information at one of our designated locations and the service will take care of the rest.

Our top field agents have zero previous sales experience but have tremendous people skills along with the ability to control a crowd as it tends to get busy at our tables. We have multiple locations in which we will provide you with the tables, chairs, materials, devices etc. If you are someone who exhibits a strong ability to draw people to you and can work well with a crowd you will thrive in this position. If you have a hard time talking to strangers that walk by the table, keeping people engaged in friendly conversation or do not work well in larger groups of people this is most definitely not the position for you. Again this is not a sales role this is customer service and WILL test your people skills. The service we provide is FREE for the community we are serving to use, it is absolutely no cost to them.

Each week you will be provided a schedule for the location(s) you will set up to provide this service. You begin the day by going to your assigned location, once arriving at the location you will set up your table, material, chairs etc. You are expected to be on time and represent our company at a professional level whether dealing with customers or individuals that ask us to come to another location to provide our services. For this role you will need a smart phone whether apple or android along with a means of reliable transportation to get to your assigned location on time. We WILL NOT tolerate any form of misrepresentation or illicit use of customer information. We deal with sensitive personal information for our consumers and if you are found performing ANY illicit activity you will be terminated immediately and we will inform the local authorities. We take information security very seriously and have a ZERO tolerance policy for any shady activity.

Pay Structure:

How much you make is determined on how much you want to work as we offer flexible schedules along with your ability to showcase a high level of engagement and interest amongst people who walk by.

$15-$21 per device (pay rate based on performance)

Part time agents typically make between $300-$500 per week

Full time agents typically make between $1,000-$1,700+ per week

This position is 1099 and compensation will be based on performance.

This role is a entry level role into our company. We have an agent success road map to not only help you be successful in your position but also provide you with other opportunities as well as full in depth training for other income earning opportunities throughout our organization. If you perform well like most of our agents you will have the opportunity to not only earn additional income but also advance throughout our organization. We strongly believe in promoting from within our company to leadership roles as well as higher income earning positions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I Have A Schedule?

We let you pick your schedule. We are very flexible when it comes to scheduling but we do ask you to provide us with an availability schedule that works for you and stick to that schedule. If you have to miss a day all we ask is that you let us know ahead of time.

What Are The Hours?

Typical shifts are between 4-8 hours. Operations start the day at 9:30am CST and finish around 7:30pm CST which various shifts in between running all 7 days of the week. We let you pick the times you want to work as much or as little as you would like.

Do I Have To Find Locations?

You are not required to find locations when it comes to distributing the devices. If you come across an area that you believe would be a good location we are always open to having you go check it out but you are not required to find new areas.

Is This 1099 or W2? Are Taxes Taken Out?

This is a 1099 position so you are an independent contractor. Taxes are not taken out although we provide resources and information to help with knowing how you can structure some of your money to help with taxes (we are not legal professionals this is not advice these are just pieces of information from what some other team members have found to be beneficial).

Is There A Quota?

We expect our agents to distribute atleast 5 devices per working day (the days they work)

Will I Be Alone?

We always send 2 people to each location for safety and security reasons. This way you have an accountability partner to make sure things go smoothly along with hitting your goals for the day/week.

When Do I Get Paid?

You will recieve $15 per device that you distribute and we give the devices out for FREE for those who qualify. We also have bonus payments and pay periods go from Monday-Sunday which are paid about 2 weeks after on the following Tuesday.

(14 days after the pay period has ended).

What If A Device Is Lost Or Stolen?

We have every team member sign a consignment for for liability. If a device is lost or "stolen" on your watch you will be charged for that device.

Is There A Dress Code?

There is not a dress code. If there are shirts and attire in stock at the time of your onboarding we will provide those to you to wear in the field.

Are There Travel Opportunities?

Yes! We are a growing team and plan to expand over the next 12-24 months to numerous states. We currently operate in Minnesota as well as starting to open up Texas. The best part is you don't even have to move, lets say you want to take a 2+ week vacation in a state that we operate in you are able to go to that state and still put some hours in the field to make money with a change of scenery!
